Join Rock Solid Outdoor Women’s Fitness Special  

Women! Get your body into an active and healthy routine of regular fitness! We’ll run, jump, skip, and climb!  We’ll pump iron, pull bands, and crunch stomachs.  We’ll box and kick and shake our hips!  And we’ll do it all at the beautiful break of San Francisco days.

8 weeks  ------- $380

(Monthly fees still available at $195 per month, $75 per week, $25 per class)

What You Need for ROCK SOLID:

  • Good Running Shoes ( Take any used exercise shoe to a running store, and show them to the shoe-person.  S/he should be able to help choose a shoe that is right for you.  While you’re at it, a good pair of socks is a bonus!)
  • Comfortable. LAYERED clothing (remember the weather changes by the block in SF)
  • Gloves (Any gloves – Walgreens & Right-Aid carry these great little stretchy gloves with rubber grip for less than $2 a pair.  Get some!)
  • Hat (to keep your ears warm)
  • A good bra (if you are substantially endowed)
  • Please bring a full water bottle to class
  • Be prepared to have your body & your body fat percentage measured.

What to Expect:

Your job, the first two weeks, is to SHOW UP!  You will learn to apply Rock Solid’s cardio-routine to your fitness-level, and you’ll be led through a series of resistance workouts that target the body’s major muscle groups.

You will get a feel for Rock Solid’s rhythm and routine while being challenged by the variety and complexity of exercises.   You will likely be sore (we will introduce you to muscles you never knew we there!), and you may find you are more tired during the day – especially if you have been on an exercise-hiatus. This is your body getting used to a new routine.   You are introducing a new physical intensity to your daily routine, a proven method for optimum fat burning. You are beginning the muscle work required not only to reshape and tone your body, but to increase your metabolism, causing your body to continuously burn more calories throughout the day.  You are suffering temporary pain en route to your health and fitness goals.  You will want to skip a class.  Don’t.  They say the odds of one maintaining a new routine are greatly diminished if that routine is interrupted or compromised within its first two weeks.  Impress yourself now, and be impressed with the results later.

My job, your first few weeks, is to gain an understanding of the current level of your strength, endurance, and coordination, identify any limitations, and discover what motivates you.  After training with you several times, I’ll be confident in knowing to what point I can push you.  And, during your life with Rock Solid, I’ll continue to push you just beyond that point.
